How PsychPal uses AI
PsychPal uses artificial intelligence to respond to your messages and generate reflections. To do this, we send your conversation messages, mood entries, and journal text to a third-party AI service so it can produce a response.
Who receives your data
Anthropic PBC — the maker of the Claude AI model that powers PsychPal's companion. Your text is transmitted to Anthropic's API over an encrypted TLS connection strictly for the purpose of generating a reply to you.
How your data is protected
- Anthropic does not train its models on your data.
- Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3).
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- You can delete your account and data at any time from Settings.

If you do not agree, please close the app. You can revisit this choice from Settings anytime.
